The Nursing Mama Edit - Pregnancy and Breastfeeding in Style

No 2 on the way, yay! But you still need to be comfortable to nurse your no 1 child!

During our Elk Collaboration collection shoot, gorgeous Renata was expecting precious number 2 mini mite! Just because she was expecting, doesn't mean she wasn't still a Nursing Mama.

How to Wear Your Nursing Mama - Urban Style

Being a new mum can often rock your fashionable wardrobe. Everything you wear needs to now be versatile enough to be on call for when a lil one screams for milk.

We understand!

In this fun collaboration with Australia designer Elk's Summer collection, we put together some fab ideas for you to still be able to colour our lives, despite being busy mums!

See how you can couple your Nursing Mama essentials with these gorgeous Elk items!

Nursing Essential in Teal with Elk Accessories Khaki Cardigan

Dress up a bump with some colour and add a simple necklace and jacket for comfort and layering. Being pregnant and still nursing your first child means you need to find clothes that are both suitable for nursing and accomodates for your growing baby. The bamboo material in our Nursing Mama essentials is soft and stretchy, making mums lives just a tad easier to balance both. A light coloured jacket from Elk with a patterned lining adds interest. Simple comfort.

This is layered with a light brown Shirt Jacket from Elk Collection. A stylish urban handbag and you're ready to hit the coffee shop urban mama.

Post Partum 3 weeks. That bump that comes when you have a baby is beautiful as bub is growing but once you deliver, reality is that it doesn't always go away. Light cardigans and shirts such as the White Elk Shirt Jacqui is wearing here is great and draped over a Nursing mama singlet gives a pop of colour, interest and practicality.
